Description

Ink sketch of a Mesopotamian Spiny-tailed Lizard Saara loricata.  Saara is the sister-genus to the uromastyx, my favorite lizards.  The Mesopotamian Spiny-tailed Lizard is native to Iraq and Iran and its conservation status is rated Least Concern by the IUCN.
