For April, I got *DeepFade's Resurgam. She's got a beautiful design and I was thrilled to draw her; I hope I did her justice. This month's theme was magic/storms, so Resurgam is sitting at the mouth of a cave above a forest as the rain pours in from outside.

One of the other reasons I was so pleased to draw this character for FAX was the chance to practice fur. I don't do much fur, but I'd like to get better at it. Critique on any aspect of the painting is appreciated.

Oh my gosh! I seriously did a backflip when I saw this in my inbox.
Your art is so gorgeous, the scenery is so detailed I could just get lost in this picture forever. The water effect, especially that reflection, just WOW! So many details, between the rain, the trees, the fur, even that slight glow around the character.. my mind has been blown 10times over! This really made my day, wonderful job!
