Ciameth Reference

Reference for my vulturegryphon Ciameth, who is also my account namesake.

Ciameth resides on and around the tepui of upper South America, spending most her time ranging widely, soaring on broad wings. She is also found in the deserts and scrubland of Southern California. Her mother was an Egyptian vulture/caracal gryphon; her father was a King vulture/jaguar gryphon, and instead of taking more after one than the other, she is an even mix of the two. Both of those vulture species have a prominent role in the ancient mythology of their native habitats. Gangly and tall, Ciameth has the weaker feet of a New World vulture and prefers scavenging to hunting. She is fascinated by the roles vultures play in human culture and particularly proud of her tenuous connection to Nekhbet, the vulture-goddess and patron deity of Upper Egypt, and the vulture-gods of the Mayan and Aztec. Her personal glyph is a combination of one of the common representations of Nekhbet and a Mayan motif King vulture.
