Ben Linus, played by actor Michael Emerson... I don't remember the exact episode, but he was wearing this blue shirt against a blue background and his eyes were especially blue looking so I thought it would make a fun reference.
Ben is my favorite character on the TV show Lost. Not because he's a nice guy--he's actually rather unlikable--but because his motives are ambiguous and his personality is complex. You never know what Ben's going to do next or if what he said was the truth (it probably wasn't), which makes Lost wonderfully unpredictable. I also like that Ben breaks the good/evil dichotomy common in fiction. He is, without question, a bad person. But he continues to insist that he's "one of the good guys." I think he's both. What do you think?

This is very good. Ben is my favourite. I don't think he's necessarily a bad guy. He does bad things because he's been told that it'll all add up to a greater good. He just does what he's been told. And sometimes, things get ugly.
