-Send me a note on dA (preferred) or an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org with "commission" somewhere in the subject line. Include a detailed description of what you want, with character sheet or photographic reference (for pets, people) if available. I reserve the right to decline commissions that I feel I cannot complete to our mutual satisfaction, either because the subject matter is too complex or due to a lack of specificity in expressing what you want.
-Once the general idea of the commission is settled, send the allotted payment via Paypal. When the money is received, I will begin working.
-For ink sketches, colored ink sketches, and digital character drawings, you will receive a basic pencil sketch of the work in progress. For simple and full digital paintings, you will receive a colored layout of the work in progress. At this point, if there is anything about the composition and color of the commission you would like changed, it will be modified till you like the look of the image. Full refunds will be available up to this point, but once work has begun on the details of the sketch/painting, full refunds will only be given if the artist cancels the commission.
-I do my best to provide reasonable turn around time on the finished product, but art is not my full time job. If you have commissioned a digital painting, you will be notified of any unexpected delays and will receive regular samples of the work in progress.
-When the commission is finished, you will receive a high resolution, un-watermarked file of the image.
-The client may not sell prints or copies of the commission or use the commission for personal profit in ANY form. However, they may otherwise do what they like with the commission.
-I will not sell prints of the commission image without the client's permission.
-I reserve the right to post your commission image on my deviantArt page and to use it as an example of commissioned work for future clients.
